アイヌの遊び歌。
二人が対面で座っていて、その間に罠のロープが輪っかになって置いてあり、輪っかの中にお菓子がおいてあります。縄の両端は人が握っています。親ネズミと小ネズミ役は二人の気をひこうと膝を触ったりします。その隙に輪っかの中にあるお菓子を素早く獲るのですが人間が素早くロープを引いてネズミが捕まったらネズミの負けです。

This is a game for four people. Two people sit face-to-face with a trap rope between them and some sweets in the loop of the trap. One person holds each end of the rope. Two more people pretend to be mice—a parent and child. The parent mouse and the little mouse tickle the knees of the people holding the rope in order to distract them. In the meantime, they try to catch the sweets in the circle. If the people pull the rope quick enough and the mice are caught, the parent and child mice lose.

EAST OF KUNASHIRI
2002年夏、サハリンの南の港コルサコフを夕方出港、夜明け前、船はクナシリとエトロフ間の水路を静かに進む。誰の眠りも妨げない静かな海の向こうに燠火のように真っ赤な朝焼けを背にエトロフ島が姿を表す。右舷方向にはまだ夜に黒々と横たわるクナシリ島二重カルデラのチャチャ岳。北海道はすぐそこだというのに何千キロも遠く離れたところに来たような錯覚を覚える。船の上でおれは過ぎ去った長い時間を見ていた。
やがて前方の一点から霧が湧き上がり、チャチャ岳はゆっくりとしかし素早くその姿を消した。

As the sun began to set on a summer evening in 2002, my boat left the port of Korsakov in the southern part of Sakhalin. Across the sea, I could see dim lights in Hokkaido. The vessel headed slowly towards the channel between the islands of Kunasiri and Etrov. The sea was calm while everyone slept. Then, just before dawn in the direction of port, the island of Etrov appeared like a bonfire under the bright red sunrise. Starboard, in the direction of Kunashiri, Mount Chacha of the double caldera volcanic formation remained covered by the black of night. Even though Hokkaido was nearby, I felt as though I had travelled thousands of miles through space and time to the territories of Ainu ancestors from hundreds of years ago. Eventually, fog whirled up around the ship and the peak of Mount Chacha disappeared. OKI DUB will take you to east of Kunashiri. Enjoy the journey of 9 minutes and 12 seconds.
