ダンスカンパニー「カハーウィ・ダンスシアター」を率い、先住民族の精神性を舞台芸術で表現するサンティー・スミスが、樺太アイヌに伝わる弦楽器・トンコリを中心にした斬新なサウンド作りで、世界を驚かせたOKIとコンテンポラリーダンスを制作する。「Susuriwka」はアイヌ語で「ヤナギ橋」。国を超えて、「先住民族」というアイデンティティでつながる二人の出会いで、新しい物語が始まる。
