くさまくら
面白いコンピレーションCDが発売。タイトルは『くさまくら』(フランスのサラヴァ・レーベル新作)。このコンピは、同レーベルの主宰者ピエール・バルーの娘さん、マイア・バルーさんがプロデュース&選曲したものです。ピエールの奥さんは実は日本人の方。つまりマイアさんは日仏のハーフです。それもおそらく関係していると思いますが、このコンピは日仏ダブルカルチャーの感覚が色濃く反映されていてとても面白いのです。内容はすべて日本人アーティストで、奄美、アイヌ、ジャズ、シャンソン、チンドン、ボサノヴァetcと多彩。つまりこれは、マイアさんが「世界に発信できうるジャパニーズ・ミュージック」を日本人&フランス人双方の感性、視点で選んだものなのです。このCD、昨秋にフランスで先行発売され現地では大ウケ。そして我々日本人が聞いてもいろいろな発見がある刺激的な内容です。
