NYを舞台に Dub, Afrobeat, Space Rock, クラブミュージックシーンでそれぞれ独自のユニークな活動を展開してきた日本人ミュージシャンたちによるコラボレイション。
ブルックリンのロフトスペースbpmにおいて Chimp Beams, Akoya afrobeat, Marianne, MainSpace, Channel U などのグループの制作、発表の拠点としてNYのアンダーグラウンドミュージック＆アートシーンにおいて注目を集めている。

NYはブルックリンのロフト「b.p.m」を拠点に"地下活動"を続けてきたたエクスペリメンタル・ダブ集団MainSpace。
2008年4月にアルバムをリリースするエレクトロニック・ ジャズ・ダブ・バンドCHIMP BEAMSのリーダーMARIHITO、2007年ワールド・ミュージックの間で最も話題となったアルバム「P.D.P.」をリリースしたAKOYA AFROBEATのドラマーYoshio"Tony"Kobayash、同じくAKOYA AFROBEATのメンバーとして活動しORANGE PEKOE、YOSHIDA JIROのアルバムに参加するなど幅広いジャンルのアーティスト達と共演する
トランペット奏者TAKUYA KURODA、THE TOYS、ULTRA BIDEやWARP時代のJIMI TENORのバンドで参加してきたギタリストSATORU ITOといった海外を拠点に活動する日本人のメンバーから成る。ON-U SOUNDやRIP RIG + PANICのような80年代のニュー・ウェヴ、アンビエント、ジャズ、そして日本の民族音楽をジャンルにとらわれない発想で消化し、ダブの手法を用いて紡ぎ合わせた演奏からは無限の可能性を秘めている。 - PLACE:
